Andrew Gaidus is a Staff Data Analyst at Recidiviz, currently working on the Spark team. Previously, he managed a growth analytics team at Metromile, a pay-per-mile car insurance company. Before that Andrew worked as a researcher at a public policy think tank where he studied spatial and temporal patterns of disease, crime, and other problematic health outcomes. He holds a BA in Environmental Policy from Williams College and Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment. In his free time, Andrew can be found rock climbing or trail running in the Eastern Sierra.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
