Thomas is a Product Manager at Recidiviz building tools to empower individuals who are incarcerated or on supervision. Inspired by a longstanding fondness for Parks and Rec, he spent the previous 5 years serving local government employees at OpenGov, mainly by building data and reporting tools. Thomas is always keen to talk about distance running, cycling, jazz piano, obituaries, southern cuisine (especially collard greens), and coping strategies for summer in San Francisco. He holds a degree in History from Stanford University.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
