Fy is the Product Lead at Recidiviz. Previously, they were disrupting archaic industries as a Product Manager at NEXT, an insurtech startup serving microbusinesses and solopreneurs. As one of the first 20 employees there, and scaling nearly 50x in 6 years, Fy had a hand in nearly every aspect of the product and business, from leading the development and launch of NEXT’s first mobile app, to executing post-acquisition integration, to completing a full scale rebrand and so much more. Fy used to play high level rugby but after too many injuries to continue playing rugby, they’ve retired and settled down into the nice gentle sport of roller derby. Fy holds a B.A. in Anthropology from U.C. Berkeley.
