Carolyn Wu is a State Growth Manager at Recidiviz. She started her career in local government as a Govern for America fellow and previously worked as a Performance Analyst in DC Government where she evaluated program outcomes, helped agencies create effective performance metrics, and worked on a wide range of other projects to improve service delivery. Outside of work, Carolyn runs weekend Survivor games (parodying the CBS reality show!) and loves cooking, writing poetry, and lifting. Carolyn holds a B.S. in Informatics from the University of Michigan.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
